Anniversary trip to the North East
We liked the friendly welcome from mine hosts Lorraine and Andrew. They went the extra mile, even helped us getting information on the Tyne Tunnel. We were there on our wedding anniversary and the owners had left an anniversary card or us. Very thoughtful and it was very much appreciated. The breakfast was what you would expect – full English. Ideal base for going around the North East area.

The Owner of the guest house they are special and nice and they tried to provide everything we needed. I thank Lorraine.
Clean tidy also close to everything beach sea restaurants gardens. They lulled the place. And the variety of breakfast.

A lovely welcoming homely stay!
Lorraine and Andy were lovely and very helpful. Andy even carried my bag upstairs for me which was very kind. They upgraded my room as I hadn’t realised I’d booked a room with shared loo, so as there was a room going with one, it was offered as a free upgrade. I was so pleased it had a bath as that really helps with my condition 😌 and I had a busy schedule so it made my trip all that much better and more comfortable. The towels were lovely and fluffy and the whole place very clean and presented just like home, so it felt welcoming and cosy. Even a fridge for fresh milk with tea! The breakfast was great and all in all, great value for money. The fact you can park outside is also a big bonus. I’ll be back in I can get booked in again and bring my mum next time! Thank you again 😊

Fabulous guest house … warm and welcoming. Lorraine went above and beyond.
Fantastic breakfasts.
Lovely friendly couple. Felt like we know Lorraine and Andrew for years.
