I stayed in South Shore Guest House with my husband for a weekend, we were very impressed with the room & facilities.

We found the staff helpful & pleasant nothing was too much trouble for them, the room was spotless clean, with central heating & a shower in our room, lovely fluffy towels were provided.

We chose to have a full English for our breakfast in the morning, there were cereals, fruit & juices too, in fact enough to set you up for the day.

South Shields is a very pleasant seaside town with parks & a lovely beach, there are plenty of different places to eat in the evening.

All in all I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in South Shields it is a small & friendly home from home hotel.
