I absolutely loved my stay there. The room was spotless and very cosy. Both my mum and I slept very comfortably and we’re both fairly picky when it comes to bed and pillows. The bathroom was spacious and very clean. We had a full English breakfast on both daysand it was wonderful as well. But the real gems are the owners. I haven’t had much time to chat with Andrew, but he was so helpful when we first arrived and Lorraine is an absolute sweetheart. My mum, who doesn’t speak English, couldn’t stop telling me how wonderful and welcoming Lorraine was and I think she was fairly jealous she couldn’t have a chat with her. I would totally recommend this place and I will definitely come back in the future if my travels take me to South Shields again.
